Canadian No.4 Mk II Bayonet. Long Branch. WW2. #2401028. Canadian WW2 No.4 Mk II bayonet made at Long Branch in Ontario. Long Branch produced 910,000 of the No.4 Mk II spike bayonets between 1941 and 1945. This bayonet is identical to the British No.4 Mk II spike bayonet. Only the markings are different.The socket block is stamped with a Canadian government ownership mark, the pattern designation and the Long Branch maker’s mark.The bayonet is complete with its Mk I scabbard. Both the bayonet and scabbard are in great condition.

ENGLISH SILVER HILT SMALL-SWORD. ENGLISH SILVER HILT SMALL-SWORD: Circa 1745-1750. No Maker or Hallmarks on the hilt. An identical sword is illustrated on Plate 22 of “London Silver Hilted Swords” by Leslie Southwick. The 34” triangular blade is very nice with a pleasing patina overall. A small hole on the top of the pommel looks deliberate, possibly from which to have hung a tassel. VG+ S2750.00

MATCHED PAIR OF ALL-STEEL FLINTLOCK MUFF PISTOLS WITH 3 MARKS CIRCA 1750: A great value at under $2k for both. . 1538) MATCHED PAIR OF ALL-STEEL FLINTLOCK MUFF PISTOLS WITH 3 MARKS CIRCA 1750: A great value at under $2k for both.Â Discussion:Â This matched pair of all-steel flintlock muff pistols are very similar in construction to the Scottish all-metal pistols, except much smaller.Â This rareÂ pair has three maker marks/proofs on the bottom of the octagonal frontÂ frame. Maker’s name is no longer visible except for a fewÂ remanents. There is an engraving on the frame and handles.Â The broad trigger guard (one loose) is decorated to match the bag-shaped steel butt, which is decorated en-suite with scrolling foliage.Â Â Both have cannon-type barrels.Â Possibly Belgium was made circaÂ 1750.Â They are made completely of metal and resemble an English boot pistol single-shot flintlock. ComplementedÂ withÂ a nice patina.Â The barrel length is approximately 1.25″. Bore .38. Conclusion:Â A fine pair that, with about 2 hours of conservation, would look even better.Â For a modest cost under $2K, you have: A) A great conversation piece. B) An addition of two firearms to your arms and armor collection. C) Very inexpensive. D) The ultimate paperweights for yourÂ desk. E) You can probably fire them at the range (always consult a gunsmith). To put it more plainly you get a lot of “bang” for your buck (pun absolutely intended)!!!*
