A rare cuirassier three quarter armour 17th century with correct period leather riding boots and markings, Dutch or Swedish.
The burgonet helmet is made out one single piece with hinged cheeck pieces in good order.
Gorget is made of two parts folding on a hinge and fastened by a push button on the other side.
Pauldrons lined with old original leather, some replaced lamets but overall good.
Breastplate is marked, of heavy cuirassier type.
Backplate also marked.
Tassets are covering all the way over the knees.
The leather boots are all complete with spurs and leather (decorative) front flaps. Small losses to the leather on the topmost part of the left boot (loose part included)
Comes with good provenance, Hoar Cross Hall from the Col. D. Watson
Very good representable armour.
